"We wanted to do something different and came across the aqua lodges at Yacht Haven. The staff at the marina were very helpful and friendly which made check-in and checkout a breeze. The property was just as the photos detailed. Very clean, new, great location for moving around the town. We rented a boat onsite and they had bikes, kayaks and paddle boards available. "This was an excellent choice. We arrived at 10 pm and the directions sent before checking in were perfect. Had absolutely no trouble and the grounds were very well taken care of. Super cute cottages and very comfortable."

"Fully equipped house boats, the view off the back deck made this trip perfect. It was so relaxing sitting in the back in the evening. A couple of manatees swam by one night. The pool was great. And the kayaks were awesome. Parking was very close, the people working were very friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay again! "

"Had a wonderful time. So much to do in the area. We enjoyed the Cabana Club beach only a short drive away and included in the fee. We were there for the coldest week of the year. The maintenance gentleman, Scott and his assistant were kind enough to bring a hard to find space heater that kept us toasty warm as well a giving spot on recommendations for great places to eat. Some construction in the area but tolerable. Hope to return someday. "

"Coincidentally a couple of days before we went a friend who is familiar with Coral Lagoon told us about its sinkhole which will need extensive construction to fix. As a result we learned after we booked but before we arrived about the 5’high chain link fence which walls off the canal from the condos on the east side, including #12. The lack of direct access to the water and the impaired view were disappointing since we spent most of our time on the porch. There was no active construction...

"The rental was perfect for us. A couple in our 60's. We are laid back. The bed was very comfortable. We used the screen porch extensively as well as the patio. The view of the stars at night was amazing. Laz was very responsive. We had one minor issue and let Laz know and it was corrected within hours. We did not have a boat but it would have been a great place to have a boat. We will be back!"

"First time visiting the Keys and this property was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Very clean with lots of amenities ( kayaks, swim spa, gas grill, etc). Access to the canal and the use of kayaks was a huge plus! Manatees came right up to the dock several times while we were there!! Took the kayaks out to the mangroves and really enjoyed seeing the birds and sea life. The kayaks don't have seat bacs, but we used the lifejackets for that and that worked well.The only "negative" of the trip...

"Before we arrived, we weren’t sure what to expect because the reviews were such a range of absolutely amazing or completely horrid. Our first time to the Keys, and we wanted an old school vibe that was quiet and relaxed, in the middle of the Florida Keys, and we could slow down and enjoy ourselves.
