"The property was lovely but we struggled with a few things... accessing the internet and thus, the TV, was a challenge. The upstairs living area is a good bit smaller than it appears. Locked ourselves out of the bathroom, so caution: that's easy to do! The upstairs furniture is firm - a bit stiff. Would stay again, but just good to know what the set up is like."

"Very clean, comfortable bed. Only complaint is portable air conditioning units. They are big and loud. They do the job but we turned the one in the bedroom off at night so we could sleep."

"We had a great stay at this property, it has a beautiful view of the lake and is a short trip to multiple marinas. The house itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just be aware that the driveway is super steep and your tires will slip a bit going up, especially in the rain."

"While we had a very last minute cancellation due to Hurricane Helene, Kathleen and Sean were fantastic hosts leading up to the trip and beyond. Kathleen shared a book of recommended restaurants and activities in the area, and they both were so kind and thoughtful in handling the cancellation of our booking due to a natural disaster. We hope to be able to visit in the future. "

We spent slow mornings on the porch listening to the sounds of nature and spent evenings playing games and watching movies as a family followed by s’mores!
