"I have had a lovely stay at Bay and Basin Hotel. The room was cosy and warm with facilities to heat a meal or make a cup of tea or coffee. At night, after a lovely hot shower, I snuggled into bed and watched the large screen tv and it was so quiet outside. I felt very secure but close to everything. "Great location, very close to the beach and easy to walk to. Home felt newly renovated bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was decently stocked with utensils and plates/cups etc. Nice open windows but if you want to sleep in, just FYI the wooden Venetian blinds do let some light through. Good if you want to wake up early!Went during Easter so the internet was a little slow but that's because there's more people down there, lucky we brought some board games anyway to entertain ourselves.Also make sure you turn on the switch for the hot water too as it runs on solar and might run out after a few people showering. Had to put a 1000 bond through direct deposit which seemed a little steep (it is mentioned before during booking) but that was returned promptly after confirming check out.Jervis Bay area was lovely hope to come back to the area soon. "
"We had a beautiful time at this classical beach house with beautiful views from the upper veranda. Little Hyams Beach is just across the street with fantastic walks in both directions. The house consists of two seperate and unconnected fully equipped appartments. This was perfect for our group (4 adults and 1 teenager) providing some privacy. The house would benefit from some maintanace work to keep its charm alive."
"Good:———- Amazing beach view- Well furnished and clean, well maintained except wardrobes- Entertainment options are good, downstairs sitting area and big backyard with more than enough seating options for a big group- Good walking and bike riding track across the road- Short drive to the most popular beaches in Jervis bay- Big weber gas BBQ is super handy- Dyson handstick vacuum - Outside shower is super handy with kids- Washing machine and dryer working perfectly, very handy for a long stayBad:——- Wardrobes are in terrible condition. One bedroom doesn’t even have a wardrobe because it’s locked for owners.- No hanging space in both showers- Downstairs shower is in the laundry with no exhaust. It’s also the access to the backyard. If someone is using the shower, you can’t use the laundry and can’t access the backyard, drying rack or BBQ- Kitchen has pots with no lids, nonstick pans are scratched and in bad condition and food stuck all the time- Child gate at the top of the stairs is broken and unstable so it’s more of a hazard than a gate- The downstairs bedroom has only a chest of 4 drawers while it has two queen beds and can sleep 4 people so you don’t have anywhere to store your things other than your travel bag"
