"My room was cosy, had tea and coffee making facilities, a warm, clean and comfortable bed, a heater if i needed it and a wonderful view. The shower wasnt the best but the water from the sink was always hot. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"I have to say that I quite enjoyed my stay . I travelled solo and I was surprised to have the subway stop right outside . Very convenient location . The water pressure was low but enough to have a reasonable shower . If I returned back to Glasgow I would definitely return"

We were born and grew up in Gourock and returned from Australia to visit family and friends. I worked in reception in the Tontine nearly 50 years ago and wonderful to see the hotel still welcoming guests. Tontine is comfortable, clean & welcoming.
