"Owners were there to meet us and feel welcome. Cottage beautifully restored and very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us"
"I had a great stay here! Jake provided me with lots of helpful information, and when I had to change my booking he was very understanding and professional about it. It's a short walk from all the places I needed to be in Hobart and the room was very comfy. Would definitely stay again!"

Water/Bridge view; FAMILY is what this house is all about; 10 mins drive to city
8/10 Good
"Check in process easy and the views on arrival add that wow factor! The driveway was fine for the 4WD, but very difficult for the AWD.The property is in need of some general maintenance and restocking of bowls/cutlery, etc, but generally well stocked. For a couple of small issues, Julie was easy to communicate with and fixed the problems straight away. We had good few days exploring the Hobart region. Thanks for having us Julie."
The Studio - Seclusion by the water with your own private beach.
10/10 Excellent
"As soon as I saw The Studio on the website my heart was taken and I felt drawn to it. Our stay lived up to expectations and more. The location is magical, the private road winding through an entry cut through the rock, with wildlife grazing on the sides and then opening to a private perfect little house with a private beach area and fabulous 270 degree views. The house might look small but the amenities are more than adequate. The kitchen contains nearly all you could need and flows into a comfortable living area with a bookcase full of books and some games to pass the time, as well as a large TV. A table and chairs for two sits in the large picture window near the wood heater. The wood heater fire was especially wonderful and made our stay cost and warm. Nigel was very accommodating and taught us how to make a fire, and he cut and collected wood to set us up. The spacious bedroom area overlooking the living area has a very comfortable bed and space to move, and a reverse cycle heater. But if you get the fire just right it should keep the upstairs just right all night. There’s a door out to a huge deck which would be wonderful in warmer months. I honestly could live there and was so sad to leave. I hope I get to go back one day. Thankyou so much, Nigel and Denise. "
"Was a great place...stayed there before. My only issue was my unit for the first night was really cold, but I was thinking that no one had been in it for a little while so even though the heat pump was on when I arrived it was a bit cold for the first night."
"The accommodation we stayed in were converted stables. The rooms were well appointed, recently decorated and warm (we stayed in winter). The accommodation is annexed to the hotel. The hotel is the epitome of a country pub with traditional pub fair, eight ball and friendly locals in their seats at the bar. Not a refined experience but everything we were after, we were comfortable, fed well and welcomed."
