"Over night for Thanksgiving trip to see family out at Sea Ranch. Perfect spot to stay in Gualala. If my parents didn’t live out at Sea Ranch and I was fortunate to have a staycation place out on the coast I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the woman’s name who checked me in, but super friendly and welcoming. Rented the Horizon / King suite, ocean view…beautiful room. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"The Lodge is absolutely beautiful! My room faced the ocean which made each day’s sunset an exhilarating experience. The room felt completely unique in its smart eco-conscious design and beautiful wood floors and walls. Frequent travelers may be surprised by a room free of TV but the ocean vibes instantly become a wonderfully soothing substitute. I especially want to mention the truly wonderful staff from Marcel and Celia at the front desk to all the great people in the cafe and restaurant....

"The view from the swan room was beautiful. The in-room hot tub and fireplace were amazing amenities that we utilized a lot during our stay. Miren was an amazing host! She made sure we had fresh firewood every day and was very responsive. Whale Watch Inn is truly a gem along the coast! "

"This may be the most comfortable house we’ve stayed if. The couch, rocking chairs and beds were just right. The shower was hot and had great water flow. The redwood trees are so lovely and the outside lighting added to the enjoyment after dark. Little charming, thoughtful details were an added bonus, especially the live plants. We plan to come back."

"Amazing property and retreat, just what we were looking for. Didn’t have signal so definitely come prepared with downloaded instructions and maps. WiFi works great. WiFi password initially said it was incorrect but just restarting the router did the trick. Kitchen fully stocked with herbs and spices and plenty of cookware, cutlery and even ziplock bags and foil. House is literally surrounded by woods and we saw plenty of deer. We loved it and will be coming back!"

"this property is absolutely stunning and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The location was beautiful and private and close to Stewarts Point General store (coffee and sandwiches) and the Lodge (cocktails and dinner). Easy access to Sea Ranch trails and community pools. The hosts were fantastic and the house had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!"

"Large and beautifully landscaped property, within in the forest, that I enjoyed walking each day. It was a perfect retreat from the city. The house had lots of large windows, so I enjoyed the outside from every room. A few minor hiccups, but nothing major, and the property manager was very responsive which was much appreciated."
