"Irmgard (Inga) was lovely, greeted me on arrival and showed me the lowdown on how it all worked etc, which was great and then pretty much left me alone for the rest of my stay, which is what I wanted... perfect! "

"House was a good size, and the large deck was fabulous with a really peaceful outlook. The second kitchen/bar area was a great extra for the family to serve up snacks and drinks away from the food prep kitchen. The pool was great and used constantly by the kids. Lots of spaces to spread out into. Closed yard with large kennel for dogs also, although our pup stayed inside with us which owner was ok with -a very dog friendly property."

"An open-plan, sun-lit house, with ample space for large groups. Our teens and 18+ kids enjoyed to fooz ball and snooker table. We brought our own food and geoceries cause there aren't any stores nearby. Having free access to Netflix and other apps on the TV was great, and loved the Anchor restaurant right at the door of the property. The property manager, Col was fabulous and met us at the marina and spent time with us to show us around the property and explain how everything works- he’s a real gem! We had a great lunch at Peats Bite restaurant and their boat picked us up right out front of the property. Our kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock and everyone enjoyed the spa. "We came back for the second year in a row to Michelle's cottage as it is literally the perfect beach shack - clean, big enough for a family of four plus puppy, equipped with everything you might need during a holiday (I ended up having to put together a pavlova and I've even found a mixer to whip-up the cream!!), amazing backyard and ideal location - quiet but very close to pub and beach.We will be coming back for sure!"

River is beautiful but a giant walk down/up the hill and there’s a space to bbq and a fire down there too. There were some small issues with bed arrangements and keys But they were resolved immediately by the host and their lovely cleaner. Pretty isolated from everything so bring all you need for your stay for max relaxation. "

Loved it here.

"I loved my stay here. My room was inexpensive and compact but comfortable and had all I needed ( a full length mirror would have been good though) the shared bathrooms are gorgeous not lots of cubicles it’s proper private suites loved them. The staff are wonderful and we spent lots of time in the car downstairs. Great food too. In the evenings if you don’t like the noise of a pub then it’s probably not for you but I don’t mind and can sleep through anything. Definitely will stay here again. "
