"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. "The walk to the hotel from the Kusatsu bus station is not a mere 8-10mins or so, esp with luggage in tow and that it’s a bit steep to get to this hotel. Definitely not for older folks!! Didnt like that we also couldnt prearrange for taxi service ahead of time on our way back to Tokyo as we did not want to catch the bus again.
