"The garden is very spacious and beautiful. The highlight of the property is the fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. The living room is good sized for 2 families and kids. The common areas and bathrooms are clean, with all the facilities in place (washing Maschine, vacuum cleaner, white goods etc) The furniture in some of the bedrooms could use a bit of fixing up. "Beautiful, old-school grand hotel vibes. But in the best of ways. Extensive nautical theme, with great regional history. Large, well-appointed rooms. Water-side rooms on upper levels have a stunning view of the canal. Restaurant was very good. Bar/lounge has booked shows, so check in advance and buy tickets if you're interested. Very reasonable on-site parking, but there was always available street parking as well. "
