Hotel Riu is perfectly placed near Fisherman’s Wharf. We were able to walk/visit all the major piers, neighborhoods, Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge by either walking or taking a short Uber. The free breakfast in the morning was AMAZING as it was a “real” full breakfast and not just a cold bagel or croissant so we were able to start our site seeing day off with happy full bellies. Rooms were clean, spacious and spaced out so we never had issues with loud neighbors. I highly recommend Hotel RIU and will definitely return!

Great location, close to a lot of attractions/restaraunts, The breakfast buffet is really nice way to start your day! Clean rooms, but a little dated. Enjoyed our stay at the Riu Plaza!

This is a great location only a block from Fisherman's Warf. There is no dining or restaurant option on the property except the morning breakfast and they don't allow you to take it back to your room. It was a good hotel for the value.

This property is very deceiving from the online pictures. The property is very outdated, popcorn ceiling, non-working phone, the view was of the AC unit and you can hear people walking in the room above you like you’re in an apartment. Would NOT recommend. This should be rated as a motel and not a hotel. It’s comparable to a truck stop

The staff was friendly and inviting. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Area is very convenient and walking distance from the Pier where you have unlimited shopping, fresh seafood, and novelty shop. Only downside was they stated they didn’t have a microwave on site and we could rent one for our room for $20 for our stay. Not having a microwave anywhere besides for rent ia a little ridiculous. Other than that the experience was Amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
