About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Stay in Hana #1

Beautiful studio with 1 queen bed, private bathroom with river rock shower, 2 covered decks, and parking right in front of your door. You'll be surrounded by the sights of trees and sounds of ocean and birds. The property is 2 acres of lush Hana rainforest in a perfect location.

The space

Hana Organic Farm is a fruit farm conveniently located within a mile of Hana Bay, Waikaloa Beach, Fagan's Cross, Hotel Hana Restaurant, Spa and Bar and Hana Cultural Center and Museum. Also within a mile are many delicious food trucks along with Hana Ranch Restaurant and Bar, Hasegawa Store and Hana Ranch Store. We are 5-10 minute drive to Waianapana State Park (Black Sand Beach), Hamoa Beach, Hana Lava Tube, Kahanu Gardens/Pi'ilani Hale, and many other amazing Hana landmarks.

Oheo Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools), Wailua Falls, and the Pipiwai trails and waterfalls (Bamboo Forest) are all within 11 miles of Hana Organic Farm and Retreat.
Other things to note
Self check in and check out with lock box on front door of your unit.

Please arrive before dark.

WIFI

The wifi in the property is through satellite internet.

Currently it is the only available internet provider in this specific location.

Wifi speed may slow or it may not work in inclement weather.

LOCATION

It’s in jungle like settings so BUGS, ANTS, MOSQUITOS or Flying insects and critters are to be expected.

We don’t want you to get eaten alive by mosquitoes so we highly recommend you to always close the doors and make sure to bring bugs spray.

GECKOS/LIZARDS are also expected they like to eat the bugs and sometimes you might hear them at night. So if you're not ready to experience them, then this place is not for you.

HANA HIGHWAY

The hana highway is a very tricky road to drive, if you’re an inexperienced driver you might find it intimidating. Make sure you do more research about it before visiting Hana.

Always pull over to the locals, drive with caution and don’t over speed.

STORES

Hana Ranch Store & Hasegawa Store - they are a mile from our place, both store have plenty options of groceries and beverages.

FARMER’S MARKET DAY

If you like to try local vegetable, fruits, bread, juices etc you are welcome to check out the Farmer’s Market every Friday from 3pm-5pm.

Nice place in Hana
This place was perfect for our overnight stay in Hana. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was newly renovated. Make sure you drive slowly when approaching the address, so you won't miss the driveway leading to the house. This is a nice place for a short stay when you are in Hana.

The stay was good for a night to recharge after driving the Road to Hana. The room was clean and had a nice shower. There was also no TV in the room or board games, so you might want to consider bringing some form of entertainment for yourself if you plan to stay a while. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

Beautiful Peaceful stay
We loved staying at this property in Hana. Hana is our favorite part of the island and this home did not disappoint. The view from the lanai was beautiful. Directions were clear and easy to follow. We would definitely stay again when in Hana. Thank you

Private natural setting
We spent 2 nights in Hana. This unit was clean, private and centrally located. We were surrounded by fruit trees and a lush tropical setting. Nice place relax after a day of exploring. The bathroom was recently updated and clean.

Cosy little place, nestled amongst greenery
Just as described, cosy little room, with a decent sized bathroom & space for a small refrigerator & microwave. A nice lanai on one side (we did not use it) & a front patio where you can sit out as well. Very private & nestled amongst greenery. We just stayed the night, so did not get to enjoy the location fully as much as we would have otherwise.

Great respite
After a hectic 8 days of travel, this place offered a respite. We got in about 4:00 pm and lingered a bit in the morning. We enjoyed food truck dinners on the porch and coffee on the lanai. The WiFi access was more than adequate, and we relaxed to the jungle and ocean “music.” The place was easy to find and access. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Marcus!

Perfect Overnight in Hana
This was the perfect little place to stay for a night in Hana. Very clean, looks nicer in real life than in photos! Other reviews mentioned bugs and everything closing early. Bugs weren’t bad at all and we had a late dinner at the Hana Ranch restaurant! I would highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing stay
Lovely tropical setting, beautiful shower, easy access to car but would have loved some extras like paper towels and kleenex. Did not like cleaning dishes in bathroom sink. Freezer needed defrosting, not usable. Overall, a nice place in Hana.

Quiet suite in Hana
This was a great place to rest after a few long days exploring Hana. The bed was comfortable, and the suite was very clean. The bathroom was beautiful and the place looked like it had been recently renovated. It provided everything we needed for a short stay. I would recommend staying here for an affordable stay in Hana. The only thing to keep in mind is everything in town closes early (most things by 5pm) so make sure you have a plan for dinner!

The property is pretty much as advertised. Not fancy, but in Hana. The rain forest setting was very cool, but the mosquitoes make it hard to enjoy (maybe screening in the porch areas would help).
