"This was the PERFECT apartment for our family: we were visiting the SUNY student from overseas for a week. It was so very nice to NOT be in a hotel in Oneonta. We all enjoyed the space so much. The kitchen space allowed casual meals in, as well as endless cups of tea and the opportunity for the student to bake chocolate chip cookies for friends. The overstuffed chair was a favourite for studying. It was a five minute drive to the dorm, so it was super easy for her to spend a couple hours between or before classes. The owner answered all my questions right away and helped with additional days and late check-in. I can’t recommend this unit enough."

"The house is about 5 minutes from All Star Village. It was a good setup for our family while we were there for baseball. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the hiking trails at the college across the street"

"We booked this place while our son played at Dreams Park. It is a good 25 minutes from the park. The house was wonderful and full of character. The hostess went above and beyond to make sure we were welcomed and comfy with extra amenities and toiletries in baskets. The only bedroom is up a flight of stairs. This could be an issue for some especially given the age of the house. The staircase is steep and the rail is very low. The bathroom is on the main level at the back of the house so if you need to use it in the middle of the night you have to go downstairs and through the entire house to get to it. Not an issue for us but could be a problem for some. The laundry room is in the basement which only has an outdoor access and requires you to go down some steps to get around to the back of the house where the door is located. This was a little bit of a pain since we would get back to the house later in the evening after dark. We didn't feel comfortable trying to go down to the laundry area in the dark let alone leave our clothes in the machines since the door did not lock. The machines themselves were very nice and clean and laundry supplies were provided. We enjoyed this property!"

"We rented this house because our son was at Cooperstown ASV. While yes the close proximity to ASV is convenient the house is old and basic at best. The photos look nicer than it is. The home wasn’t warm or inviting. Everything is old even the pots and pans. They were too scratched to cook on. The washer was old and rusty. The furniture look like it came from The Goodwill. With the money they’re charging families to stay here for the week you would hope they could put some more effort into making the home feel more inviting and cozy. We ended up checking out early and found other accommodations! You can tell the owner did a lot of DYI projects and it shows. There should be some sort of standard in which these Vrbo’s are held to. This one isn’t. Was the owner responsive, yes. Was check in easy, yes. Other than that the house needs a major renovation! The entire neighborhood is run down."

"My husband and I stayed at Big Wave 1 for a week in June while my son was playing baseball in Cooperstown. The unit was amazing. Completely remodeled, super clean, and very comfortable! It was the perfect size for my husband and I. Close to the baseball fields at All-Star Village. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge bonus! We would definitely stay here again!"
