"Hi we enjoyed our stay at The Cocketts Hotel in Hawes, 28th Feb 2025. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was good, my only advice would be to give an option on egg cooking method. The current managers are working hard to improve the hotel and we wish them success with this. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Hawes. "

"Room was lovely, and fairly quiet for above a pub. When we arrived there was several sets of bedding’s and sheets drying in our room over chairs and a clothes airier, must have been left by housekeeping but not in issue we just folded and set aside. Only downfall was that the shower head didn’t stay up. We ate and drank in the pub also, food was absolutely gorgeous both evening meal and breakfast. "

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. "Cold welcome from a blonde lady at reception who asked ‘can I help you’ when I walked in with my walking gear on. Perhaps she thought I was not good enough to stay there but compared to other stays this was unwelcoming! A smile and a welcome wouldn’t go amiss! Other than that The rest of the staff were lovely.
