"Met my good walking friend here. We walked the coastal path from the Sawmills to Lee Bay. The coastal path was a stones throw from the pub. Staff were able to signpost us to the path well. They even checked us into our room at 0945 !!!! Wow!! Loved the fairy lights on our return! Loved the menu: we both had curry, one fish, one sweet potato... So yummy!!! Lovely comfy room and dog friendly too!! After out 9 miles,and a quick end of day dip in Coombe Martin, we both loved the huge sunflower...

"The room is large and clean with a nice size shower. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and other nice amenities like coffee and television, refrigerator table and chairs, etc. it also had a nice fan. What I didn’t like is a parking was very tight we were fortunate on both of our nights stay to find a spot right in front of the hotel but I suppose if we come a bit later, we would’ve had to struggle to find a place nearby.
