"The house was clean. There were plenty of clean towels. The kitchen is well stocked with what we needed to cook with. It met most of our family’s needs. However the backyard is very steep and it was difficult for our grandchildren to play there. The dock in person is not near as nice as it looks in the photo listing. That part was disappointing. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Great little house. Close to boat ramps. One thing of note...if towing a boat, it does have a steep driveway and you will need 4-wheel drive to get up the hill. "

"First, I would say that we have rented 20+ homes for vacation over the years. This one is up there at the top! We absolutely loved the nice open field, basketball court, and back porch area. The home is in fantastic shape and has everything needed for a great stay. It's about a 30-minute drive to Chattanooga and there are plenty of waterfalls within a short drive. We love the outdoors, and this house is so peaceful. Thank you for a great stay. We look forward to coming back again soon!"

"Teek's house was very clean and spacious. The grounds were beautifully manicured, yet still had a natural feel. The boat dock was big and the upper level had the perfect furniture and a peaceful view. Teek was very quick to respond to an issue that arose during our stay, and the matter was resolved within 24 hours. The only negative was the lake- we were unable to swim because of all the underwater 'sea-grass'. It was crushing to arrive and have the kids run down to the water only to...

"The house was very clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the screened porch that stretches almost the full length of the house. The waterfront is a marshy area so the access to the water is limited to a small area but the owner provided canoe and kayak allows guests to get out into the cove. The bedrooms are large and the beds were very comfortable. Guests with mobility issues should be aware that there is a step-up into each of the two bathrooms. It was a quiet area with no close...

"We had a great stay at The Wilson House while staying in Fort Payne to visit family. The home was exactly as the pictures in the listing show. The house was very clean, comfortable and rooms were well lit with natural sunlight and plenty of lamps/ceiling lighting available. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and dinner on the well-kept back patio. We were able to park in the garage, which was great. The location was perfect for a short walk to the center of town and just a short drive up...

"You can tell all the hard work, thought and imagination put into this property. If you want a relaxing stay away from the noise of the city..time to unplug ,then I recommend here. We sat on the rooftop looked at the mountains ,relaxed in the hottub.,made dinner and listened to the crickets .Had a great time."

"It was very restful. Would be extremely helpful to have TV instructions. When turned on and a program was selected, the TV went black. Front porch needs sweeping and spider webs removed. The home was great. "
