"A very nice, quiet, location on a hilltop with a view. Our goal was to go birdwatching at the refuge and this was conveniently located to that as well as easy to get downtown for shopping and restaurants. For us, birding on the property was also enjoyable. Just the type of place we love to stay. Everything inside was clean, cozy and well decorated, even some homey Christmas decorations. The host’s artwork is on the walls and it complements the lake are beautifully. "

We brought the family back down and did all the things we remembered: goat island, peanut point, Ice cream at Windcreek and most importantly ate Chuck’s pizza for lunch 2 days straight! "This 4 bedroom beachfront home was the perfect place to escape 20 degree weather of Kansas. It has 3 bedrooms with totally different king mattresses, 2 with on suites, the 4 bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds. I loved the size of this place. It has plenty of room to accommodate 3 couples with 4 fitting into the room with the bunk beds, but is perfect even just for the 2 of us. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything you need. The underside of the house parking has plenty of room for 4 cars...
