"We stayed here in mid-October where the fall colors were just about peak. The panoramic view from the porch exceeded our expectations - just breathtaking. The water was a nice feature although the boardwalk was not really functioning. We found that you don't really need it to get to the water's edge. We stayed with another couple we were very close to, so the close quarters upstairs was not a problem at all.
