"This hotel was a highlight of our Switzerland trip. We've got upgraded to a panoramic room and watching the sunrise hit Matterhorn in the morning never gets old. Large room, spa, breakfasts, ice cream at 3 o'clock - everything was top notch. The only thing I wanted was for it to be closer to the other side of town. It's hard to drag your feet across the whole town after an all day hike in the mountains."

"7/31-8/3, 2024. Pro: location, cleanness, friendly, complimentary breakfast. Con: no A/C. Great location in the middle of downtown, 0.3 miles (5 min walk) to train station, in the middle bt. the two main lifts, a few minute walk to Schwarzsee(?) lift, where cable carts go up to Glacier Paradise, or take green line bus (free and the bus stop is in front of the hotel) to the lift. The other lift (Gornergrat Railway) is across from the train station. The room and bathroom were clean and looked new ( the bathroom was shining). With window open, the room temperature was fine. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and healthy. The staff ( everyone of them) was very professional- friendly, helpful and patient. This hotel was impressive. "
