"Nice hot spring hotel , but hard to find by driving. The open bath on roof is very pretty! However, there was a noise from the wall whole night in the room . Its kindda bothering .. other than that , it was a cozy stay ! "

"Great hotel with a private sauna in every room. The beds are comfortable and there is a small refrigerator with a freezer in the room. We spent a long day of walking around Gifu Castle and Gifu park, so we enjoyed relaxing in the sauna after. And we went to the hotel's roof top space and looked at the stars. Also, there are 6 free parking spaces but they were full when we went, but directly across the street is a one day/¥400 ($2.50) parking space. Very affordable and convenient. Also, the staff...

"The Gifu Washington hotel was in a great location. It is an very easy walk from the JR Rail Station to the hotel. Then, the bus station that has busses the go up to the Ukai fishing area is just across the street for the hotel, so easy to get around with just public transportation! "

"Came back a second night. Since we were still in the area another night. The new front staff were good. Bedding room and bathroom were all clean. Room was still what I would call old/dated but well kept. Just not the carpet. Carpet was well stained, old and thread bare in places."
