Hotel Kanronomori

3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (248)
"As with many places in this part of Niseko, it’s getting dated. They have done some upkeep inside at least. All the investment is over in Hirafu and Hanazono. That said, this side of town still has a lot of charm. The good backcountry skiing is over here too. I enjoyed the onsen. The food was also good, but started to get repetitive after day 2. I stayed 4 nights and wouldn’t have wanted to do another meal per se. There are limited dining options on this side of town, but the isakaya down...

Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Besso Moku No Sho

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (140)
"We had an amazing stay. The food, the staff, and the whole vibe of the decor are incredible. What a cozy, lovely spot. I know the harsh winters can be hard in a property, but I would suggest they do some minor maintenance (wood paneling on private outdoor onsen area, rust on private porch railing, wallpaper in entrance area) to ensure this amazing hotel can stay around for a long time! We want to come back in every season. "

"Nice hotel with friendly staff. Location ok for restaurants and shops but looong walk up to dot or gondola base with ski gear. Lockers tucked away in depths of the hotel. Water was barely warm enough to have a shower so that was a bad experience. But otherwise clean, comfortable enough. "
