In the centre of Antalya, the Hidirlik Tower is an iconic structure with an intriguing design. The bottom part of the Roman tower is square while the top is cylindrical. Consider the history of the 46-foot (14-metre) structure as you gaze up at it from the gardens. It dates back to about the second century during the Roman occupation of the region. Theories suggest it was used as a tomb and a church during its long history.
