"Stayed here as part of a group of eight friends. The main room is beautiful and we loved hanging out there when we weren't sipping coffee on the dock. There was also plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spread out throughout the day, with lots of things to do (as described in the listing). Curtis was an excellent host -- very accommodating, communicative and generous with the check-in treats ;) We had a great time overall and would certainly recommend the place. Be aware, though, that this is an actual family-owned cottage, and as such, it isn't one of those pristine "investment properties" with coordinated linens, zero clutter, and so on. This place has personality and quirks (for example: good luck figuring out what half the light switches do). Bottom line: if a cozy, somewhat weathered and 100% authentic vibe is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed."

"Beautiful place ! Everything was in good condition. Well stocked with dishes, amenities and water activities (boat, canoe, kayaks). Beautiful gazebo and cozy cabins. Less privacy than expected with neighbouring cottages and an early quiet time (9pm). One thing we would have liked to know ahead of time was having to bring all garbage home with us. Check in and check out was straightforward. Hosts were quick to answer messages and super helpful. Was the perfect setting for our girls weekend. "

The cottage itself is huge with many relaxing areas to spread out and enjoy quiet time and great spaces to come together to enjoy a meal or play a game as a family. The property has so much to see and do and is very generously equipped. The lake and beach areas are clean and safe and we spent so much time in and on the water. Janice and Simon are incredible hosts. Very kind and easy to access. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great cottage getaway. Simply fantastic!"
