"Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. Right on the beach and close to great restaurants. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, everything I needed. As mentioned in some reviews the rooms are smallish and the chair/carpets did have some staining. But, the positives outweighed the small negatives. Would absolutely come back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great stay!!"

"Right on the beach, we had an ocean front view which was spectacular to wake up to every morning. They porch on the back of the property is relaxing. They include breakfast and a happy hour. They have beach towels and umbrellas and chairs right in front of the property beach area. There are 2 restaurants jn walking distance. The historical district and fort cinch are close by. The staff is friendly and helpful. I really liked it here and wiuld come back. "

"On our first attempt to enter our room, the key cards did not work, so we had to go back down to the lobby and get new key cards made. Then, once we entered our room, we noticed a bad smell and saw a huge floor fan that was obviously drying wet carpet. Again, we had to go to the lobby and get another room. We honestly did not notice that the second room had wet carpet as well, until we were unpacked and took off our shoes! Ugh! Yet another trip to the lobby after repacking, with all our luggage!...

"We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!"
