"We were in town for a family event and the schedule was changing. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us. We let the kids have the upstairs and we slept peacefully on the foldout sofa downstairs. The location was near all we needed but it still felt secluded, private and peaceful. Coffee on the back deck, looking out over the river, was a true highlight. We hope to come back again!"

"This house was the perfect location for us…only blocks away from the church that hosted our event. We were pleased with the cleanliness, and the house was supplied with whatever we needed. One thing that disappointed was there was no coffee pot (Mr. Coffee style) as was pictured in the photo of the kitchen. I realize that “k-cups” are what’s popular, but some of us “old-timers” prefer an old-fashioned coffee pot."

"We loved that this was a pet friendly spot and enjoyed the house with a spacious back yard for our dogs to play. The couch and beds were comfortable. The WiFi worked great and the TVs had Roku’s so we could connect to our favorite apps. There was plenty of room to spread out for our family. We also were able to make use of the exercise equipment, which was a nice amenity. We have family in the area and would definitely stay there again. "

"All went really good, except two things. If you have dogs, don’t leave your dog’s unattended in the backyard, it has a fence, but house has a crawl space and my dog went and we couldn’t get them to come out for about 1/2 hour. Also the liner of the shower curtain needs to be replaced. It has a lot of mildew. The rest was perfect !"

"This is my second time staying at this location and I fall in love each time. Cool breezy mornings, fresh air and stunning sunsets were a part of my stay daily. For those who like to exercise, the long country road is serene and safe (2 or 3 cars came through on my 1 hour walk). The accommodations fulfill every need. If only for 1 night, I suggest you stay here, and I guarantee; you will rebook. Thank you to the owners for the hospitality and conversations. 5-stars."

"Safe and quiet location. Very nice and clean! Comfortable living area with a nice size eat-in kitchen, laundry closet, and beautiful lake view from the spacious back deck. A few cons are the mattress in the larger bedroom is too soft and it sunk in when you lay on it. The bed frame in the smaller bedroom is fragile and felt like it was going to break so you had to lay still when you sleep in it. The larger bedroom’s temperature is warmer than the rest of the unit so we had to keep the door open...
