"It is a very cool old Florida hotel in a great location in Crystal River. It is a little dated so the humidity was not great in the rooms and it just needs a lot of updating. But they are building a new hotel right next-door which we hope to visit in the future. We did very much enjoy our stay. The staff was excellent."

"Stayed 3 nights in (regular) King Suite. Loved everything! Excellent & friendly staff, speedy service, very clean rooms, very spacious, great location, felt safe and well lit, Liked the parking too and having a room to the outside. For a 3 star hotel & for the value and the area, property age, etc., they more than deserve 5 Gold Stars. Also liked how close it was to the Crystal River for swimming with Manatees & to the Weeki Washee Springs Park which is where the Mermaids are. Not a whole lot of a night life in Spring Hill, though the Capone’s (pool hall / bar) nearby was a real treat. We also ran into a couple of FEMA refugees staying at the hotel and they, too, were very very nice. Thought it was really cool that the hotel opened their doors to them. "
