"The Over the Moon Cottages are an excellent location for convenience of being close to downtown Bala amenities and direct access to the lake across the road. "My friends and I enjoyed the labour day long weekend at this cozy cottage by the water. The property is beautiful, well maintained and allows you to see the sunset by the dock. The game room downstairs gave us something to do during those cold nights. The owner, Kimberly, did a great job providing the children with games and activities appropriate for their age. "From the entrance, driving beside a channel that connects the lakes, we knew that this was going to be a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed so many things, but especially the number of bedrooms and bathrooms could easily accommodate 12 of us, the kitchen was spacious for prepping and cooking, the fire pit was huge, the water access on multiple sides of the property was amazing, and the hot tub was a bonus after a day of kayaking and canoeing. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone."

"We were really happy with our 3 night stay - our kids shared the room with the bunk beds while the two adult couples split up the remaining two rooms. We spent most of our time out at the dock - swimming, fishing and kayaking. Only minor point for improvement is the need for a few more outdoor chairs but otherwise the property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen made the experience seamless. We'd definitely book again."

"The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay."

"Three generation of our family really enjoyed our cottage stay. The cottage was well appionted, the access to the lake was easy for all ages and the outdoor space amazing. We only had one rainy day which took us into Gravenhurst for their great famers market; wonderful straberries and corn! "We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. "

"Beautiful cottage on a beautiful location. The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories."
