"The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled. We bought some descaler but it needs several attempts so we had to use a pan to heat water for drinks. The person in the accommodation...

"On first entering the apartment, it’s lovely, and it really is. However, the living room doesn’t have any blinds or curtains. So at night time, it’s like being in a fish bowl. Especially with Costa across the road. There isn’t anywhere for a girl to do her hair, or put her makeup on. Having said this. Iron out the small details, and it’s perfect. "Although free parking is available, it is not on site parking, it's a 7 minute walk away. Access into the property is on the first floor (up a flight of stairs because the lift is out of order). "Very friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms really clean and well managed. Breakfast was very good and kids under 13 eat free. Bar and lounge areas are also very good. Great location on the Marina with easy walking access to the city centre or old town. Had a really relaxing stay and the place is also pet friendly which is ideal and also well managed. At this price point it’s absolutely spot on. "
