How about a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room plus free breakfast with hot waffles. Better than some motels I've stayed in at twice the price."

"I had such a lovely stay at the Lillypad! Entry was seamless and everything was extremely clean- not to mention beautifully decorated! I was greeted with complimentary wine, chocolate, popcorn and a lovely sunset over the lake that I could view from windows lining the back of the house. This was the perfect scene for a quiet retreat. I took the kayak out on the water, sat by the fire pit, and read in the cozy living room. I even ventured into Cullman (about 30 Minutes away) for a delicious dinner at 412 Public House. (It also looks like a great brewery and pizza place will be opening close by soon.) It was a lovely stay, and I’m thankful for how accommodating and communicative Meredith And Brandon were. I will definitely be back! "

"Everything was very nice, aside from the fact that there's no thermostat in the cabin. The temp is controlled by the cabin above. Not a big problem for me, but if you like it warm, and the people above like it cold (or vice versa), you might be a bit uncomfortable at times. Night one, no one was above me and it was much colder than I would have liked that night. Night 2, someone was up there and kicked on the heater and was very very warm all night....Shouldn't be a problem for most people, but it could for some not having control of the temp. This IS noted by the host already, but I just wanted to give my opinion on it also."
