"Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay at Villas Karalv. The owners lived right on the property and were very friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size, the bathroom on the small size. The A/C worked great. Water pressure is low but it worked out fine for us. "The pool is very far from the room. Sliding doors don’t close properly allowing mosquitos to come in. I don’t blame the staff. They are very friendly and tried to help however this property doesn’t look like anything advertised. The bed is made of cement and the mattress is hard. We can’t sit on the porch due to bats droppings and smells of bats. "

"Everything was great with our stay Oct 26th 2024 for one night however when I booked 2 days prior it said I would be charged at the property at checkin but was still immediately charged $75.94. When I checked in at the property on 26th they charged me another $76.90. It has been 3 calls now to request a refund and 2 weeks after still nothing. This was my only concern."

"Began witting this while in this locale... Another restless night. This rental is located 20 meters from Hwy 307, a main route north and south on the Mexican Carribean. The road noise is/was awful. We also listened to a water pump loudly whine all night the first night. I sent the host a notice that the pumps bearing was likely going out. "This was an amazing place to stay. Surronded by such beauty and amazing sunrise and sunsets. The rooms are stunning and comfortable. The staff, well, amazing is an understatement. I also had two massages and the Mezcal Ceremony, highly recommend both. Every single meal was delishious and thoughtfully prepared. I will be back. Love this place!"

Beautiful hotel has a lot to offer

"I have been waiting to stay here since I saw this resort the first time on the lagoon in 2021. I stayed at the over water cabana which offered beautiful lagoon view, unit 6 and 7 are newer units with glass patio doors. The cabanas are eco friendly therefore no AC but they provided 3 fans, the room is not completely sealed so some openings are covered with mesh to prevent bugs. Their temple is beautiful and they offer daily yoga or meditation. We also paid extra for the lagoon boat ride and met the captain yan who was so nice and knowledgeable. This is a place to connect to the nature so fish, birds, bugs and frogs might come out sometimes."
