5/5 Excellent
"Had a wonderful stay here that we extended twice - we really enjoyed Hue, and this was an ideal location. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a very western-business aura. Lovely view of the river. Not tons of character but very well done all around. In our particular room, the mattresses seemed aging and weren't my favorite, but they were comfortable enough and again, very clean.
The head of service, Van Duc, was helpful and so charming. He physically walked me and my mother to a pharmacy and helped us there in order to make sure my mom got what she needed, and was super knowledgeable about travel options with good prices on offer. He single handedly made this big fairly impersonal hotel feel welcoming and warm.
And the food! A breakfast buffet that took about 5 minutes to do a lap around, with tons of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Western options including egg and noodle stations. Restaurant/lounge/in room dining super expensive though.
All in all we loved our stay!"
