"Difficult to find. the room was OK. There was no Elevator. Breakfast was good. Once oreintated it was easier to find way around. The castle tour was great and informative."

"The hotel and restaurant are superb. Kastellaun itself however is very much a town in decline. I grew up there and it is very sad to see so many vacant shops and so few people in the middle of the holiday season."

"Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Hotel. Aber es war alles super. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, auch die Idee mit dem vorbestellen, sehr gut. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war toll. Dann hatten wir morgens noch einen Nikolaus für jeden vor der Tür. Super lieb. Die Besitzer und die Angestellten super super nett. "

"Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, es war ausreichend Platz für alle. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder."

"Wir haben hier ein verlängertes Wochenende verbracht. Kulinarisch gibt es einige schöne Restaurants in der Nähe. Ohne Auto muss die Wanderlust gross sein. Das Haus ist wunderschön und der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein, auch abends. Die Vermieter leben im Haus. Das ist aber kein Problem, alles sehr nette Menschen."

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "
