"Perfect location in easy walking distance to the White House, great restaurants, and two Metro stations - one with a direct line to Reagan International Airport. Although it is one of Washington's older hotels (it was originally the Statler Hotel and was finished during World War II), it has modern conveniences while retaining some of the interior architectural charm. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the North Gate Grill."

"Feels like home. Big enough to have all you need easily and small enough to feel like they really care about you. Will come back again and again (as long as Washington do still exists)"

"I like the quiet discreet atmosphere, polite staff, no crowds to check in or out. I like the minimalistic approach: qr code for information, express check out and filtered water in the lobby. I did not like the food choice and its quality in the small convenience store on the premise; the staff in this stor was not polite as well."

"The location was ideal for visiting our niece, a GW student. It’s a great neighborhood and convenient to the Metro. We were able to check in early. The room was just right, nothing fancy, but clean & comfortable. Would stay there again."

"Check in was quick. The room was great having been recently renovated. The hotel is in the center of DC with access to the metro from inside the hotel. Lots of great restaurants and sightseeing to do by walking. Will definitely stay here again!"
