"The Tru hotel was very trendy. The lobby is very impressive. Everything about the hotel felt very clean. I loved the lemon + sugar hand soap and body wash. I'm usually very sensitive to smells, so the fact that I really liked it is saying something! I appreciated that when I asked about local places to eat, I was given a list of restaurants and even a coupon for one of the restaurants, which I put to use. I liked that they had a water fountain that had a place for me to refill my water bottle....

"Straight up the weirdest thing about this hotel is that there is no elevator. This was a huge pain because since I was on the second floor, I had to make multiple trips to bring in my things. I was traveling by myself, so I didn't have any help. I'm in fine shape physically to carry my suitcase upstairs and make multiple trips, but found it odd that the desk clerk didn't even offer to help. "It was a very clean pleasant place to stay except for some reason there wasn't any cold... YES COLD water. The cold and hot water spigots in the sink were hot... And the shower has to be turned way down to where there want much pressure, so it wouldn't get too hot Other than that, it was great."

"Friendly staff, check in process was quick and easy. The room was not smelly like some rooms at pet-friendly hotels. The white bed linens and towels passed my ultraviolet light test. There were no stains and in good condition. The furniture surfaces and appliances also passed the ultraviolet test. The toilet in the bathroom, however did show signs that it WAS cleaned with a detergent, but not completely wiped away. I did not find this a big deal since the floor, sink and tub were spotless.
