2.5 star property

"Great stay for husband and I and our dog. Quiet, peaceful. Cottages are dated but clean. Queen mattress was wonderful. Did not givev 5 stars because hot water knob in shower was barely useable, ready to fall off. Kitchen faucet also flimsy. Floorboards are soft. Oven door could only be opened 10 inches due to window ledge so it prevented us from making our own pizzas. Owners obviously care about their property and we appreciate that. Overall a great place to call home as we hiked over several...

2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (243)
"This is a little overdue, however I definitely wanted to post this. So I rolled in here on Friday February 2nd for a skiing weekend at Cape Smokey, and was due to check out Sunday morning February 4th...but after 120 cm of snow over the weekend, I didn't get out until February 6th. All I can say is that the staff were absolutely outstanding in what must have been a difficult situation for them in what was one of the worst snowstorms in decades. I recently heard that the main lodge is closing to...

"This cottage is a lovely spot that we enjoyed as we began our four-day journey around the Cabot Trail. Good place to start that trip if you are going counter-clockwise as we did. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The snug cottage had everything we needed. Nice trails on the property to stroll on. Overall a very nice experience here. "

Mountainside Cabin by the Ocean, Cabot Trail
Trailside Cottage #3
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. Location was a great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. Lovely property with access to hiking trails right on site and just a short walk to the ocean. The only issue I would note is that the floor is two different heights between the kitchen and living/bedroom area. This is a bit hazardous and we had to be careful until we got used to it. Both my husband and I either tripped or stubbed our toes.I would suggest doing something to make the...
