The view of the river and trees in the seating area behind the bunkhouse was beautiful. The staff were wonderful but reception being closed until 4pm makes it difficult to find help if you have any questions during the day. There were also no lockers in the rooms, or much space for personal storage. Other than that it was all lovely.

Property in good condition. Bed comfy enough and nice to have ensuite as well as thought out kitchen area. My main problem with it is the noise side of it. Every time someone entered or exited the front door, the door to our room rattled which was extremely disturbing late at night and early in morning. The room above was also disruptive as the floor boards on the stairs and in their room creaked very loudly.

You are required to make and strip your own bed. The bathroom had cobwebs and the room a strange smell. We booked a family room and having to make our own beds made it very difficult with the baby. Never have I paid so much to make my own bed. The mattresses were not comfortable. Separate rooms for toilet and shower. The room was large and the hotel was in a great location on the plus side.

You have to make you bed and take it down

Didn’t tell you you had to make the room up and take down until after you book room. East just a pain to do after a full day of traveling. Our bed didn’t have right size sheets or blankets. So may do with using small sheets and blankets. Food at the pub was some of the best we have had. Very good service and ambiance

The beds were surprisingly comfortable, even with two of them being top bunks. I am doubtful that the shower was cleaned adequately as there were long hairs clinging to the wall that did not belong to anyone in my party. The floor was very noisy.

Looked fab, kitchen facilities gt8. Was meant to be in a twin ended up in a four man room, but it was if they had booked at least six people in, far too many in the room. The walls are very thin you hear the people in the next room going to the toilet. Any movement from upstairs was heard, every door that opened and closed through out the night. Couldn't control the room temperture , boiling hot. Opdn the window and the noise was awful. As for the resturant, awful choice on the menue. Never slept!

Υπέροχο μέρος για διακοπές και εξορμήσεις!

Υπέροχο κατάλυμα, το δωμάτιο με έξι κρεβάτια ήταν ιδανικό για την οικογένειά μας. Φανταστική θέα από το παράθυρο όπου άκουγες το πρωί το κελάρυσμα του νερού από το ποτάμι που διέρχεται ακριβώς δίπλα στο κτίριο. Είχε επιλογή για πρωινό και χώρους για φαγητό ή bar για ποτό το απόγευμα αλλά η εκδρομή μας είχε σκοπό τις εξορμήσεις οπότε δεν τα χρησιμοποιήσαμε και δεν έχω άποψη για τις συγκεκριμένες παροχές. Κεντρική τοποθεσία για εξόρμηση οπουδήποτε στη βόρεια Σκωτία. Θα το επέλεγα οπωσδήποτε αν ξαναερχόμουν. Ίσως επίσης είναι το μοναδικό κατάλυμα με δυνατότητα να μείνει οικογένεια με 4 παιδιά στο ίδιο δωμάτιο! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Clean, nice location, and friendly staff but it is odd that we had to make our own beds and strip them too. Appears to be more of a hostel style stay than a hotel or inn as advertised. We enjoyed the small river right next to the hotel and only being 5 minutes from the castle. Good food in the restaurant as well.
