"Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. We booked a day tour of the area with the hotel in the third day, however it was just the three of us so they transfered us to another company they worked with. Despite the reviews about the sound/music from Bank Town, it wasn't a problem and we never used the provided ear plugs. Overall, we had a very relaxing and lovely time at Eclipse del Mar! "

"My wife and I just returned from a five night stay at Nayara. The amazing reviews you read prior to your arrival will be met with complete accuracy. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the treehouse where we enjoyed three of our five nights. We spent our final two nights in the overwater villa which was incredible as well. We’ve traveled to many destinations in the past, but have never been met with such kindness and the willingness of the Nayara staff to go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. Every staff member we met exceeded our expectations. Carlos, Franco, Cheryl, Jesus, Ruby, Jenny and my buddy from Venezuela all made a lasting impact on us that we will always remember. "We had a short but wonderful stay! The two concierges, Sergio and Stephanie could not have been more friendly and welcoming and both were extremely helpful in addressing every question and need we had. When we arrived, there was an issue with our room but they quickly addressed it offering a free upgrade and amenities to ensure our stay was as good if not better than what we had originally planned. Everything was lovely and we all had a wonderful time (family of 5) "

"The staff was amazing. The food was good. The room was beautiful. I stayed in one of the above water bungalows. The only downfall is there is very little to do nearby. You are pretty much stranded on this island unless you arrange some kind of transport or tour. If you’re looking for a vacation where you can totally check out from the world this is it. If you’re looking for a place to do lots of activities, this is not. Management took care of everything I asked for, including an unexpected early arrival. "
