Air conditioning was very weak and the room was hot all night even with ac at full blast. I also ordered a roof top room with the balcony window doors that open and I received a room on the 4th floor. I booked this place for the rooftop/ view.

Great hotel, awesome location - the room was well appointed and clean. A good breakfast served each morning of our stay. the staff were excellent and very helpful, particularly assisting us recover a passport left in a taxi on arrival. Will definitely stay again when next in Istanbul.

Amazing experience staying at Hotel The Public! The service was amazing, and they have a great breakfast offering. The location is perfect and a short walk from Taksim square. The day before arriving they switch our rooms to a building down the street with no lobby. They said the rooms we had booked had no windows, so while the new rooms had a window with a decent view, we were no longer in the hotel and had no lobby or facilities.

Nice hotel - noisy main street
The hotel is really nice and the staff is friendly but I stayed in two separate rooms, both facing the main street and you’ll need ear plugs for sleeping for the ones on the upper floors. Breakfast is delicious.

i had a positive experience. great location, the rooms are a bit small but it's something in common with all the other hotels around taksim. fully renovated, very comfortable beds, great breakfast, and in the middle of the hustle and bustle. the rooms are quiet thanks to the very thick windows.

Great Boutique Hotel!!
It’s a great boutique hotel located next to Istiklal Street, accessible to everything. The interior design is eclectic and very cool. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The room we stayed at the rooftop have low ceilings and the bathroom was small, but might not be the case with the guest rooms on the other floors. In general, it was great staying there!!

The hotel is quite modern and located right next to Istiklal which is great but also means it is noisy so take that into account if you like quiet hotels. Overall, the room was nice and had all I needed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful too, thanks for the nice stay!

This Hotel is in the heart ❤️ of Istanbul. Walking distance to the most popular sites. Staff was amazing, courteous from Mevlut to Delara. The breakfast was absolutely devine, a variety of everything to eat. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Delara made my stay special with an upgrade to the best room with the best view to Istiklal Street. I will definitely be back to Hotel the Public. ❤️❤️❤️
