"The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. Die Straßen und Gassen mit Geschäften und Trubel sind hier weitestgehend zu Ende, die Therme befindet sich unmittelbar nebenan und es beginnt ein weitläufiges Parkgelände mit Zugang zu Aussichtspunkten, Olivenhainen und öffentlichem Strand. Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und ist hochwertig. Sie ist geringfügig anders als auf den Bildern, aber im Wesentlichen entsprechend. Sirmione ist ein sehr beliebter Ort...

"Wir waren zu 4. (2 Paare) mit Hund in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft! Der Vermieter Roman war persönlich vor Ort um uns einzuweisen und alles zu übergeben! Von A-Z hat alles hervorragend geklappt. Auch das handling mit unserem aufgedrehten Labrador war perfekt!! Die Unterkunft und Vorallem Roman ist 1000%tierlieb! Vielen Dank für die tolle Reise! Wir kommen sicher wieder!!!"

"Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

"The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car"

"A lovely house on the hills just outside the centre of Stresa. Well equipped (except for an iron), though it would have helped if instructions on how to operate appliances were supplied. Clean and spacious, with beautiful views and a lovely garden.It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Stresa from the property, but a 30 minute walk back, because it is all uphill!"
