"Very beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Loved the espresso machine just outside our hotel room. Walkable to everything downtown. The restaurant is top notch (with exception of our inattentive aloof bartender), but the the food made up for it. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in town. "

"This was a lovely, classic hotel. It has old-school architecture and charm. The hotel is perfectly situated in the historic district and is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping. When we checked in, someone was playing the piano in the lobby and we were greeted with warm cookies. Our room was cleaned (well) daily. The reception staff were knowledgeable and polite. Beds were very comfortable. Our room was a nice size but the bathroom was quite small (which wasn’t entirely surprising for an old hotel). The carpet looks worn. But otherwise lovely and would highly recommend. "

"This was our 1st time staying. When we arrived to the room there was 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. No Bath towels for showers? No blow dryer, No Microwave , No working phone, No chairs for balcony. We paid $250.00 a night plus fees. I’m almost 63 years old and have NEVER stayed at a place without the necessities? For the price that We paid .. I had no idea that I had to bring my own towels and blow dryer… I had been so excited to stay at your property “ The Tides” but was so disappointed to the point that We only stayed 1 night. Had scheduled 2 nights but was so disappointed. "
