"It’s a nice suite that’s well stocked with what you need to be comfortable. It’s a quiet area with plenty to do. We loved walking through the area and exploring. My only observation is that the Sunrise Suite is very aptly named as it is bright even with the curtains. There’s a skylight over the pullout bed that doesn’t close. If you like lots of sunshine, you will love it! Finally, the owner is thoughtful, flexible, and helpful."

"Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. "Loved this property! Our room overlooked the river. The gardens have been really well maintained and was lovely to just walk around. The building is old, but the owners do their best to keep everything nice. Loved our stay and will probably stay again. Would recommend to anyone. The hot breakfast was also amazing! "
