"Lovely place to stay for a country Maine experience, and very accessible to Acadia’s hiking trails (Giant Slide Trail, challenging boulder scramble!). Well-stocked kitchen (spices galore) and living room (games, books). We didn’t find coffee or toiletries but brought our own. Instructions were very clear. Property owner was very responsive with communications. Abel’s Lobster Pound nearby was a superbly scenic place to enjoy a delicious dinner and refreshing drinks the first night! "
"The Anchorage motel was great for us. It’s a very basic accommodation- but, very walkable with a lot of good restaurants around. The staff were friendly and it was clean."
"Otter Creek Cottage worked very well for our group of six adults (two couples and two singles), it would also work great for someone with kids (the attic has so much room)! The property manager, Tim, was very responsive. Location is convenient to both Bar Harbor and Acadia, and an easy trip to Roosevelt-Campobello, and so many other things. Kitchen is very well stocked (loved the storage options)! The area is quiet, we enjoyed the back yard (plenty of seating), easy walk to a small market. Wi-Fi access was good. It was a wonderful stay! "This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again. "
