"I’m giving this good ratings but I did want to comment on a few issues. Overall, we enjoy this place and it was our 2nd time back. We stayed in room 823. The toilet in the master was not working right and I noticed it right away when we arrived. It had a small bit of water running all the time so it always made noise. My 2nd complaint with this unit was that there were a lot of small/medium size cockroaches all over. I probably killed 15-30 of them but it didn’t seem to make a difference....

"Great location, easy to check in and check out. Great accommodation- condo after recent renovation, comfortable sleep( except bed frame is low and corners are always on the way, bumped foot several times- so, be careful). Kitchen has everything and enough for daily usage. The only what we don't like- its a noise from air conditioners at the Whalers mall- its work all the time and its very loud. So, its no pleasant time on the balcony at all- balcony should be closed all the times. Otherwise,...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Maui Kai. The location, water front to the ocean, and the beach were awesome. The unit we were in could use some attention in the bathroom with repairs to the light and fan for the shower and the toliet making weird noises. But nothing was terrible or ruined our experience. "
