"A neat, clean property in a location very handy to central Whanganui. It suited our group well although it was very difficult to cook for 6 using the small pots - we borrowed some from a friend. Arrived to find someone had jumped the fence and fairly well stripped the lemon tree before we moved him on. "This is our 3rd time to stay at the Dunes, the spa pool and views are amazing. However the plumbing is needing some attention. We wondered why there was a plunger beside the toilet and the kitchen taps are a bit tired. But it was still an enjoyable stay and we couldn't fault the cleanliness"

We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled.
