"This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be waste for when we return. I'm looking forward to coming back once everything back home has settled down. Thank you so much for the amazing time. I live in the mountains and this truly felt like home. "

"What a fantastic place to stay. Superb communication with host (Elias) prior to and during stay. There was a food hamper on arrival with wine which was great as we arrived very late in the evening. Villa very spacious with beautiful outdoor courtyard area and spotlessly clean. Lots of character and just a short walk from the village of Margarites which has some lovely ceramic shops and places to eat. Monestary in the village is worth a visit too and we fell in love with the Pomegranate trees. Pool was discreetly cleaned every couple of days. A great base for exploring the central part of Crete with it's dramatic mountain range and beautiful scenery. Rethymno and Panormo great places to visit close by. We would love to re visit. "

"Beautiful villa in a very peaceful village with an amazing view. Genuine and hospitable host, reflecting the character of the region which is possibly the most hospitable culture i have ever encountered. Couldnt recommend highly enough. "

"What a beautiful villa with absolutely everything you need! The villa is huge with each room a really good size. There were 24 of us in the villa and we were never on top of each other! All the play bits for the kids were great and the pool area was totally amazing. The host was absolutely amazing too as was George the cab man arranging every cab or one night a coach to get us to and from the villa for all 24 of us! One great bonus was having loads of take away information ranging from breakfast, cocktails, snacks and dinner with all paying cash on arrival. This was a bit of a life saver as it is a bit out the way of any good local taverns and the walk from the supermarket is tough as it is up hill all the way. We did find one super market that also delivered too. The area is not great and a little run down but this did not affect our holiday at all as the villa was totally luxury! One thing I would recommend is heading to Bali beach. The beach was gorgeous and the water sports were reasonably priced and so much fun. We also ate here on the last night and wished we found it earlier as it had a range of tavernas and the setting is second to none. It is only 15/20 mins from the villa but is worth the drive! The local town panormos is tiny and didnt really cater for big groups so you would need to book in advanced if you went here .Rethymno was about 25 mins away. This was so so so busy! Loads of shops but hundreds of people! But plenty of tavernas. We will 100% be returning! "

"One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in on Crete, and excellent value. Our room had a breathtaking seaview and we'd return just for this alone. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. "

"IDI hotel was a perfect little gem. First and foremost, the hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. They were always ready to assist. The rooms were very clean. What was most important for a family of 5, their family room had 2 full bathrooms/showers which made it so much more convenient. The breakfast was very tasty and plenty. The only minor complaint was the lack of parking, but that was more to do with the municipality than the hotel itself. If I were to return to Agia Galini, I would definitely stay there again."

"Quiet location at the end of a winding road. Perfect to relax away from everything. Close to small town (15 mins) that will service all your needs. House well equipt and the pool area is fabulous."
