"Das Resort ist wundervoll! Die Aussicht auf den Chembra Peak, der Garten bzw das Resort-Gelände, das Essen und vor allem das unglaublich tolle Personal machten meinen Aufenthalt besonders! Thomas, der Manager, liest den Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und ist so nett. Die weitere Damen und Herren sind aufmerksam und nett! Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein bisschen Schliff gebrauchen. Das hat meinen Aufenthalt aber in kleinster Weise negativ beeinflusst."

"We were impressed with the hotel facilities and your clan the room was. The service was excellent and the staff ensure our stay was comfortable. My only gripe was that the room mattress was a little soft , not ideal for back related issues. The reception were quick to address any issues, if we had any. Breakfast was ok. We also attended their New Year Gala Dinner which was entertaining and the food was nice. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay memorable."

"Hotel had no hot water for both of our stays. Staff couldn't do anything about it. Also they charged us extra fees that were not disclosed. The front office person was the rudest I have ever encountered. She refused to help and even mumbled bad language, I am not allowed to type here, several times under her breath when I asked questions. There are many good hotels in the area, this isn't one of them"

"Beautiful place to stay "

Oshin Wayanad

"Over a number of years we have stayed at lots of different hotels in India ranging from 2 star to 5 star and the Oshin Hotel in Kalpetta was the best for us. The standards of hygiene were excellent (no bugs in sight), all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and whatever we asked for e.g. iron and ironing board, extra coat hangers, more towels etc, were produced in moments. What makes this hotel extra special are the staff, every single one of them whether it was a housemaid, reception staff, restaurant staff or manager went out of their way to help and were always cheerful and friendly. There is an onsite restaurant and coffee shop, just a couple of things to be aware of 1. The menu is predominantly Indian (well you are in India) however there are one or two European dishes available and 2 .The hotel is alcohol free but the mocktails were delicious and we never noticed the absence of booze. We didn’t use the on site swimming pool or gymnasium but they never appeared crowded. Outside of the hotel it’s about a five minute walk to an ATM and auto rickshaws. Alternatively, if you need a taxi the hotel will arrange this for you. We had a wonderful stay and have given the Oshin Hotel a five star rating - it deserved nothing less. "

Another standout experience was the Ayurvedic massage at the spa, which was so relaxing and rejuvenating. The therapist was skilled, creating an ambiance of complete serenity. It was the perfect way to unwind and immerse myself in the wellness traditions of Kerala. What truly set our experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff at The Taj Hotel were warm, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had the best possible stay. A special mention must go to Sreejith, who took care of us from day one until our departure. His attention to detail, thoughtful gestures, and dedication to making our stay unforgettable were truly commendable.
