"It was a cabin with one big bed on one side and 2 twin beds, plus one upper bunk. AC was great, but much cooler on one side than the other. No indoor table or chairs.
The youth camps were going on at the same time so there was a lot of noise from the kids close by.
The staff did a great job alerting us to the Tsunami threat and where we should go. Also let us know when it was safe to return."

"This was a beautiful condo. The beach area was breathtaking. It is an hour drive from any of the tourist attractions so if you are wanting to see the sights, keep that in mind. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is perfect. There are some homeless tents across the beach area, but I never felt unsafe at the resort. The only issue I had was that I failed to read the fine print on Expedia that check-in was before 5 and we should call for late check-in instructions. The condo never contacted us to tell us that. Our flight didn't land until 4:30 so we didn't check in earlier. This caused some confusion when we got there, but the night security guard walked us through what to do, and all was well."
3 bedroom house with WIFI and free parking, close to beaches and hikes.
10/10 Excellent
"The property is absolutely beautiful! Extremely clean, and the backyard was very well maintained. The house was stocked with everything we could ask for such as kitchen appliances, utensils, dishware, linens, towels, beach items (chairs), and great washer & dryer. We were a party of 7 including a grade schooler, 2 teens, and 4 adults including an 80 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the beds were very comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms was a blessing for our mixed age group. Kitchen is well equipped with new and clean appliances and we saved a lot of money by cooking instead of eating out.I didn't give 5 stars for location, but that will depend on what you are looking for during your stay. It's located in the Northwestern side of Oahu island, which not your typical tourist areas. If you are hoping to relax at the property a lot, and want to visit places like Ka'ena Point Trail (which is beautiful and not touristy at all) and Makua Beach to enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian nature, this is a great place to be. Unfortunately for us, some of us wanted to do things mostly in Honolulu so it meant a long drive to from the property. The property is within a regular residential area which meant we were greeted with barking dogs at midnight and over achieving roosters at 4am in the neighborhood. The beautiful property made up for the long drive.Samson is a great host, very quick to respond (be mindful of the time difference though), and we had no problem."
Permitted Hawaiian Princess condo on beach with sea turtles and amazing sunsets

"Well stocked, comfortable main bed, comfortable pull out couch. Staff downstairs incredibly helpful. View from balcony beautiful. Easy access to a lovely beach. Nice pool for non-ocean swimming if desired. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels provided and very lovely and handy."
"This place was incredible! The photos are spot on with the beauty and closeness of the beach! This place had everything we needed: cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron, all the kitchen items needed to cook (we didn’t cook there though)! I do feel like the inside pictures don’t go the place justice though. The furniture is much nicer than it appears in the photos—high quality wicker items. I’ve already shared this place with many family members and friends! I’m so happy we chose not to stay in one of the busy tourist areas. The drive into the tourist areas (Pearl Harbor, Downtown Waikiki) was kind of a bummer, but the mountain scenery was beautiful.
If you’re a hiker, my husband hiked/climbed the mountain right by the condo. We also went to a trail that was called Kaʻena Point Trail. It was mostly flat, so non-experts like me were able to utilize it. There is hardly any shade, so be aware of that beforehand.
There is a gem of a restaurant only about six minutes away from the condo. It is on an Army base, but civilians are able to go to it. Some people online said you needed an ID to get in, but they did not check our IDs when we went. It’s called The Beach House by 604. Coquito’s nearby is also good. We loved their Tres Leches cake.
The surrounding area (not the condo itself or on the street the condo was on) was a little sketchy when we went to Longs Drug Store around 8 PM one night, but no one approached us or anything like that. "
"We had a wonderful time at this property. The condo was very clean and the communication with the owner was prompt and always positive. The condo has everything you would need to have a relaxing time on a semi-private beach that is beautiful. The property is located in a remote location of the island that very much appealed to us. There is a full grocery story located just to the south of the property. If you want the convenience of upscale restaurants and shopping, you should stay in the city. If you want to experience the lifestyle of the locals, this is your place. We enjoyed the food trucks, talking to the residents of the property and the peace and quiet that this condo has to offer. We would definitely stay here again if we come back. "
