"My partner and I booked the place for a couples retreat. Unfortunately we broke up and needed to cancel the reservations. Even though we gave 2 weeks notice we were advised there’s a strict no cancellation rule… We decided to go anyway and make the most of it. We arrived at night and it was pitch black. It took us 20 minutes of hunting around before we found the keys. The owner would take their time getting back to us so we were locked outside in the cold. We were told no smoking or else...

"The place was great. Set up professionally, everything you could need. Bedding and linen was so good, had a couple of great sleeps. The backyard, especially lit up at night was lovely, and we nearly fell asleep on the daybed and missed dinner.
