"My partner and I booked the place for a couples retreat. Unfortunately we broke up and needed to cancel the reservations. "Mist in the Gums is the most peaceful place and quite beautiful. Carol is an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. I would thoroughly recommend Mist in the Gums to anyone. please keep in mind it is quite a way from Lake Macquarie."

"The place was great. Set up professionally, everything you could need. Bedding and linen was so good, had a couple of great sleeps. The backyard, especially lit up at night was lovely, and we nearly fell asleep on the daybed and missed dinner.
