"The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. My only disappointment is the buffet food when you’ve booked with breakfast or half board. This is breakfast and lunch or dinner. Options are limited, mainly veg/ Asian and not a lot of intercontinental choices, as per the marketing. Though they do cater for a la cart. "

"1st impression. No one to greet at arrival. There was only one thin guy who addresses guest by "yeah, what u want? Bad language and attitude. Shocking. No basic manners. Then the rest is history. "A little haven in the bustle of Chennai and walking distance (30 minutes) to the main temple, but tuk tuks are plentiful although suggest you negotiate the price before you get in as we did get ripped off a couple of time (they are great fun though and a good way to get around). Lovely sized rooms; very clean and comfortable bed. We stayed in rooms on the south side of the hotel (on the left-hand side when looking at the hotel from the road) as there is a massive construction project on the north side, which I suspect would be very noisy - so perhaps enquire if you book. Very friendly staff throughout, and very helpful albeit a bit slow at breakfast. Very good food at The rooftop restaurant but you might need to book a table as they did try to put us inside! Rooftop also has a swimming pool but really not worth bothering with - looked very murky - but good views from there. "

"This property was a real find!! We had a two bedroom apartment that way exceeded my expectations. My grandchildren (18 & 19) were in one bedroom and I was in the other. Their bedroom had two LARGE twin beds and I had a king bed. We both had lovely bathrooms - mine with tub and shower and theirs with shower only. We shared a kitchen, laundry, living room, dining room. Both bedrooms had large picture windows and the living room had a nice balcony. We especially appreciated a water cooler in our apartment so that we had unlimited purified water. We had an airport pickup and they sent two SUVs in case we had lots of luggage. The restaurants at the facility were wonderful. The main, 24 hour restaurant, specialized in local cruise and was delicious with excellent service. I did not try the cheese restaurant but my grandchildren like it. The Asian restaurant had really delicious food but we had difficulty communicating with the staff and service was very slow. The food was so good, however that I would eat there again. There is a well stocked little store in the hotel for snacks, things you forgot, etc. we decided to go on a day exploring and the hotel provided a beautiful SUV and a wonderful driver at a nominal cost. Also, we had an event where four of us needed to be dressed in saris and a lovely woman came to our room and dressed us provided by the hotel. They had excellent and functional umbrellas for guest use. The hot water was hot and good pressure. A "
