Tuk tuk and taxi drivers blocking the little footpath that is there, is not going to help them get customers. It just annoys people. The congestion pushes people out on to the road, which is just tok dangerous.

Great stay. Had pool room with beautiful ocean views. We went in low season so not sure if that room would be wise in the busy season as the room was near the pool bar, and poolside, but we absolutely loved it and the staff were great

Kata was incredibly enjoyable. It’s a good location that is a blend of party and chill and close enough that it was quite cheap to get to other places. It only cost us 400baht to get to Patong beach which is left central.
